This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from (the “Site”).

  1. Personal Information

Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. You may withdraw your consent to our processing of your Personal Information at any time, however, please note that withdrawing consent may result in your inability to continue using some or all of the features of the products and services.

We will collect certain personally identifiable information that can be used to identify you (“PII”), in connection with your use of the Services. This PII may include: (i) your name, (ii) mailing address, (iii) telephone number, (iv) email address, and, (v) for those purchasing products, credit card, billing and delivery information. If you create a Laboratory Guru account (“Account”), we will also collect certain PII to populate your Account. If you create an Account through Laboratory Guru, we will be able to access and collect your name and email address and other PII that your privacy settings on the Account permit us to access.

  1. Information Use

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

i. Communicate with you;
ii. Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
iii. When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that identifies no individual.
We may disclose personal information we collect or you provide:

i. To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
ii. To contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business, such as website hosting, cloud service providers, developers and analytics providers.
iii. To a buyer or other successor if a merger occurs, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of Company’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Company about our Website users is among the assets transferred.
iv. For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.

This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

     6.Marketing Communication

    If you opt-in to receiving communications from us, we may periodically send you free newsletters and e-mails that directly promote our products and services. When you receive such promotional communications from us, you will have the opportunity to unsubscribe “opt-out” (either through your Account, by contacting our marketing department at or by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the e-mail you receive).

    1. Data Retention

    When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records until you request for us to delete this information.

    1. Payment

    If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).
    All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
    PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

    1. Platform – Shopify

    Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.  Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

    1. Revision to Privacy Policy

    Any information that is collected via our Services is covered by the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected. We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you of those changes by posting them on the Services or by sending you an email or other notification, and we will update the “Last Updated Date” above to indicate when those changes will become effective.
